New Semi-Synthetic Cannabinoids (SSCs) are regularly emerging on the fast-moving illicit drug market. 

 

Additionally, quasi-legal semi-synthetic cannabinoids, perceived by many developers and users as legal alternatives to controlled cannabinoids, are appearing, challenging regulators and the drug testing laboratories tasked with identifying them.

 

The EUFORiaR project will address the urgent need to supply Semi-Synthetic Cannabinoid reference materials to rapidly identify, quantify and risk assess these substances.
